Mexican music, film and television star Patricia “Patty” Manterola is one of the most recognized names for Latinos everywhere. In addition to gracing the stage and the screen, both big and small, she is a mother of 3, a wife, a sister, and a friend.  I had the pleasure of a virtual sit-down with this Queen to discuss her self-care rituals!  Check it out! 
On her morning routine…
I usually wake up around 7am and meditate in bed. I do a little bit of light stretching and prepare warm water with either lemon or apple cider vinegar. For breakfast, I usually make a vegan protein shake using my fav Sunwarrior “Warrior Blend.” I’m grateful to have been able to manage the family schedule to keep my routine up through quarantine.
On becoming the best version of herself…
I’ve been meditating for quite some time (~ 2004). And I went vegan after my kids were born (almost 7 years ago) which was an absolute game-changer.
On her biggest lesson learned last year…
My dad passed in 2019 quite unexpectedly. As hard as it was, it was a huge reminder to cherish every moment.
On her current read…
Currently, I have sitting beside my bed (just waiting for me to dive in) “Thryoid Healing” by Anthony William.
On how she’s staying centered during this time of shelter-in-place..
When I’m not working, I’m pretty much a hermit so I don’t mind AT ALL being home! With respect to the kids, we have them on a solid routine which is keeping things sane and flowing.
On what’s next!
I’m releasing a new single on May 29th called “A Romper La Noche!” It’s a fun urban cumbia song and I hope that it brings some joy through dance during these crazy times. https://ps.onerpm.com/9811594507
