In January of 2015, Cheekbone Beauty was born. Founded by Jenn Harper, Cheekbone Beauty is the first Indigenous-owned and founded cosmetics company. How’s that for certifiable boss behavior? 

Cheekbone Beauty aims to make a difference in the lives of Indigenous youth through donations that support educational opportunities, and to create a space in the beauty industry where everyone feels represented. Harper, who has Anishinaabe roots, has created a full-fledged brand of beautifully packaged products (including tools) for face, lips, and eyes.
