Last night’s 68th annual Grammy Awards were a declaration of beauty and style in full force, and as the night wrapped up, it was clear this year’s beauty trends are leaning toward full-blown drama, subdued makeup and authenticity.

From feathered drama to romantic lace, we rounded up all of our favorite beauty trends and why you’ll be seeing these all year round:

Ostrich Feathers

If there’s one thing we love, it’s the drama: cue ostrich feathers. Lady Gaga arrived in a head-turning black feathered gown by Matiéres Fécales, setting the tone for the evening as one of the night’s top nominees. Several stars quickly followed the moment up, like Tyla in vintage DSquared2 with crystal embellishments and a feather train and Kesha in a snow-white-feathered Atelier Biser gown.

Reflect It: Embrace the spectacle. Think bold textures that blur the line between costume and couture with clean, glowing skin for balance.

Lace

Lace and sheer fabrics were everywhere, a romantic subdued contrast to the bold, dramatic couture. Colombian singer Karol G embodied this trend in a Paolo Sebastian gown featuring blue lace embellishments and a long train with tassels. The “Bichota” singer opted for a luminous makeup look with soft highlights and a nude-pink lip.

Reflect It: Pair the romance of lace with soft, minimal makeup to reinforce the balance between subtle and sensual.

Natural Statement Hair

We keep an eye on hair trends, too and what we saw last night is proof that natural movement is in, and sculptural perfection is out. Romantic, textured waves were all over the red carpet, with stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Zara Larsson and Miley Cyrus all showcasing variations of loose, tactile styles that felt glam but in a casual chic way.

Reflect It: The more undone, the better. Embrace your hair’s natural texture with light-hold products, soft waves and effortless buns for that cool it-girl look.

Minimal, Glowy Makeup

One of the most talked-about beauty trends in 2026 so far? Minimalist makeup. Similar to the “clean girl” makeup look that did rounds online last year, this trend is all about letting your skin shine first. Last night’s red carpet was about letting your skin do the talking with makeup looks that felt fresh, warm and radiant. We loved Olivia Dean’s mocha-tone lip that added an understated dimension to her Grammys look.

Reflect It: Think tinted moisturizer, soft lip tones and subtle highlighter for beauty that feels lived in, not applied.

Beauty That Reflects You (Not Perfection)

Out of all the trends on the red carpet, this one was abundantly clear: authenticity is key. While we love the drama of ostrich feathers and live for the timeless romance of lace, the looks that we loved the most felt true to the artist’s identity. The most impactful style moments are always an extension of one’s self-expression, and last night’s red carpet was no exception.

The Grammys reminded us that identity is an expansive, ever-evolving, and rooted in innate beauty.

Reflect It: When you think about your next look in 2026, make sure you are center stage—your vibe, your vision and your story. A look is only a reflection of the person who steps into it, fully embracing the spotlight with confidence.
