Beauty influencer Jenny López (not to be confused with the other Jennifer) has just announced a new swimwear collab with Latine-owned brand Ancora.

López, who got her start as a model, has turned her love for fashion into an editorial and sartorial dream, working with top beauty brands like L’Óréal, Clinique, and Free People. She propelled her “Jenny On The Go” Vogue Mexico & Latinamerica blog into an online curated marketplace highlighting emerging Latine fashion and beauty brands.
“[T]he ‘Jenny-on-the-Go’ website is a curation of my life and of my personal style,” she told WWD in an exclusive interview.
Now, López is serving up pool-side looks with her own Ancora X Jenny López swimwear and resort wear collection that she helped design. The capsule collection includes a trio of illustrated shell-emblazoned prints — a bra paired with high-waisted or bikini bottoms, or a pareo wrap. There are two other swim looks, incorporating black/white twisted rope detail: on a black two-piece bikini set and another on a brick red one-piece.
“These designs embody me and my personality,” she said. “The prints are playful but maintain that timeless and versatile look that I am always looking for.”
According to WWD, the launch leans into López and Ancora founder Laura Mercado’s native Colombian heritage. The entire collection is designed and handmade in Colombia using sustainable materials.
López will be debuting the launch this weekend, July 8-10, at Stitch Lab’s Summer Pop at Aventura Mall in Miami, Fl. Select pieces, ranging from $95-$190, are available now on her website and will launch later this month on ancora.com.
