10 Looks We’re Loving This Pride SZN

Because if there’s any time to breakout all that glitters and make a statement—it’s now.

June is the perfect time to showcase your pride through your makeup, hair, and fashion. Keep reading for beauty inspiration, tips, and tricks from the RB Team.

1. You’re a Star

Showcase the entire rainbow with graphic and bold eyeshadow and eyeliner. Start the rainbow in one eye with red, orange, and yellow and continue it onto the other eye with green, blue, and purple. To ensure colors stay bright, use a white eyeshadow base for the most bright color payoff. The star graphic liner fits perfectly on the outside corner of the eyes to bring more intensity to the look. And of course, finish the look with color coordinated gems that match the rainbow.

2. Butterfly Graphic Liner

Who says your eyeliner needs to stay on your eyes? Bring your eye looks to your entire face to truly show who you are. Use a small brush to help you create these intricate lines that go through your eyebrow and under your eyes to create the butterfly wings. Bring it up a notch by using your flag’s colors, like orange and pink from the Lesbian Pride Flag.

Pro Tip: Keep a small concealer brush nearby to help clean up any mistakes you might make.

3. Make It Mod

Take some inspiration from 60’s mod makeup and bring back the bold cut crease and drawn on bottom lashes. To make it more modern and perfect for pride, celebrate your flag’s colors on your lids and add glitter for extra pazzazz. Tory showcases the nonbinary flag colors with the purple in the cut crease and yellow on the lid.

4. Rainbow Blush

Why let your eyes have all the fun? Take the rainbow off your eyes and bring it on to your cheeks to look like you’ve been kissed by the sun.  Use multiple blending brushes to help you achieve an airbrushed look without the colors mixing or becoming muddy.

5. Pride Hair

Show your commitment to celebrating Pride Month all year long by dying your hair every color of the rainbow. This New Jersey hairstylist shows her amazing blending skills by giving her client the most beautiful rainbow prism and pink hair.

6. Grunge Rainbow

Who says rainbows have to be bright? You can keep your look grunge by taking some inspiration from oil spills. Use shimmery eyeshadow to blend together the colors and make them pop.

Pro Tip: Use a black cream base for your eyeshadow for a darker, grunge look.

7. Holographic Makeup

Want a more subtle way to showcase your rainbow? Try holographic, color shifting highlighters. With one step and one product, you can have all the colors on your face. The different ways the sun or light hits your face will showcase different colors of the rainbows.

8. Pride Nails

Continue your pride onto your nails! Go bold or keep it subtle with every color of the rainbow french tips.

9. Pastel Rainbow

Keep it subtle with a pastel rainbow eyeshadow look. To help create a soft eyeshadow look use big, fluffy brushes to ensure a seamless blend.

10. Rainbow Graphic Eyeliner

Be more literal with the rainbow and create a graphic eyeliner look with stars and clouds at the end of the rainbow. Use a small angled brush to help you get those clean lines for the rainbow and clean your brush in between each color to ensure no color mixing.
