You’re never fully the same after attending a Beyoncé concert. The artistry, the energy, the performance leaves you changed in the best way possible. You’re more creative, more inspired and honestly floating on air with happiness.

I’ve had the immense pleasure of attending five Beyoncé concerts in the past and getting ready for the Renaissance World Tour was honestly an experience in itself. I wanted my makeup to stand out and match the energy of the show so I decided to pull out the big dogs.

First, I prepped my face by cleansing with: with my favorite face wash. Derma E’s Hydrating Gentle Cleanser which contains hyaluronic acid, chamomile and Vitamin E is perfect for my sensitive skin.

After my skin was cleansed and ready, I applied my favorite sheet mask from Farmacy Beauty and my NIP+FAB Hyaluronic Extreme Jelly under eye patches. While both masks luxuriated on my skin, I started on my body prep.

I wanted super glowy skin, so after moisturizing with Proudly’s Nourishing Skin Oil, I let it sink in for a bit and then it was time to shine! I applied Black Radiance’s Liquid Radiance in gold dust which adds the prettiest gold shimmer to the skin and stays put

After applying body glow, it was time to remove my face and eye masks. I let them serum from the masks sink into my skin and then I applied my fave daytime moisturizer by Farmacy Beauty. Next came my Inkey List Caffeine eye cream, followed by my new mineral sunscreen by Tula. Then, it was time to beat my face. I always start with brows. I used NYX’s Eye Pencil in dark brown. Next was foundation: Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longer Wear Foundation in 450. With my base out of the way, it was now time for the full transformation— and it’s almost all drugstore products!!

Here’s a rundown of what came next (in the exact order):

  1. NYX HD Concealer in nutmeg
  2. Ami Cole Skin Melt Loose Powder in rich/deep
  3. Thread Cosmetics Face It Complexion Stick in 220 deep
  4. Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette in dark to deep
  5. CoverGirl Tru Blend Blush in temptation
  6. Wet n’ Wild Highlighter in golden flower crown (on cheeks and inner corner of eyes)
  7. HIPDOT Pressed Glitter Legendary Palette
  8. CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara in very black
  9. VLuxe by i-Envy Lashes in fluffy effect

The result was a look I like to call Shimmery Renaissance Barbie!
