On any given day, you’re most likely to catch me scrolling on the beauty side of Tiktok. And for good reason, the app is chock full of hot new trends, viral makeup and eye catching hair and beauty looks. Basically, it’s a girly-girl’s wonderland. On one particular day on Tiktok, I came across Ashanti Body Butter, a viral sold-out moisturizer. Some things to note: its a blend of shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin- E oil, fragrance oil, arrow root powder and natural mica. And there’s an easy way to see why it’s gone viral: it contains a sexy yet subtle glow that works for every complexion, all while moisturizing the skin.

After the body butter sold out, I was able to snag it during their pre-order. Here are my thoughts!
Upon first application, the body butter felt smooth. My skin was immediately soft and nourished. When it comes to the glow, Ashanti Body Butter leaves a fun, healthy amount of shimmer without over doing it. It’s flattering. I used it on my arms but I can see myself using as a full body moisturizer. Now for the scent: this Ashanti Body Butter contains a sweet, juicy blend of dragon fruit and berries. I’m a gourmand girlie so I was a bit thrown off at first but after applying it, the fragrance left a subtle berry scent which I found myself enjoying.
I think Ashanti Body Butter is worth a try! It is ultra moisturizing with a flattering glow that really works for all complexions. I am definitely going back to order the vanilla scent.
