The Black-Owned Haircare Brands to Keep on Your Radar

Celebrity and indie hair care brands are popping up left and right — with Beyoncé being the latest entrepreneur to jump in.

Curls

There are tons of quality hair care brands on the market (and this list), but CURLS will always be my go-to. Founded by Marhisha Dellinger in 2002, CURLS provided moisturizers, lotions, serums, and more for textured years before the natural hair movement took over in the mid-2000s. Though all of their products are *chef’s kiss*, their Blueberry Bliss collection is the creme de la creme. The line is formulated with super hydrating ingredients like coconut oil and aloe leaf to help nourish and restrengthen your curls. There’s a dash of blueberry extract added too, that makes your hair feel soft and smellin’ good.
