Coquette Beauty

Girly girls unite. Coquette beauty celebrates all things pretty and romantic. Think soft pink blush and pink or clear gloss on the lips. Accessorize the look with bows, pearls, and lace for an ultra-feminine aesthetic.

90s Grunge Makeup

There’s something so effortlessly cool about the 90s. It’s no wonder it keeps coming back. Grunge makeup is having a major moment right now and we’re obsessed. Try this look with matte skin, black eyeliner, and a slight touch of blush. The icing on the cake? Wine-stained lips.

Skin streaming refers to streamlining your skin care routine and opting for high-quality products that require minimal steps. This is a less-is-more approach that keeps your daily routine to only the essentials.

All Over Blush

Makeup-obsessed women can agree that a look just isn’t complete without blush. This rings true, especially on TikTok where W-shaped blush is a hot trend. To achieve this beautiful and youthful look, use any type of formula: liquid, cream, or powder. Draw a W-shape across your cheeks and nose, then blend out.

Black women have been rocking brown-lined lips forever; now, it’s gone mainstream. Just like 90s grunge is having a comeback, so are the brown lips made famous by this iconic era. To achieve this look, line brown lipstick with a liner that’s a few shades darker.

Skin Cycling

Here’s one TikTok trend that has the dermatologist seal of approval. Skin cycling is a nighttime skin care technique when you alternate between active ingredient days and rest days, where no active ingredients are used. Four-day cycles are most popular where there are two-day active and then two days of rest. The break in active ingredients helps prevent the skin barrier from being compromised.

This opaque shimmery nail trend has taken off—although who gets credit for it is up for much debate—and shows no signs of stopping. To achieve this trend, use a milky iridescent hue and a glossy topcoat.

Skin Flooding

Skin flooding is a technique where you layer your skin with nourishing, moisturizing products for long-lasting hydration. You start with a gentle moisturizer, follow with a skin mist (or leave skin damp after cleansing), apply a serum, and lastly, a moisturizer. If skin flooding in the morning, don’t forget to finish with sunscreen.

Budget Beauty

With the high cost of living these days, saving on beauty can be the best way to score a deal. From drugstore options to affordable dupes, cutting costs has never been easier. TikTok is a great place to go when looking for budget beauty options.
